Esther is a very good friend from Japan whom I have known for a number of years now. it was my first time to meet her father, Louis. He speaks Spanish, and I can manage English and passable Japanese. Somehow, though, we communicated. That was lucky for me, because he is a really interesting guy. There is a small art museum on Montserrat, and it was fascinating to go round there with Louis, who is an acknowledged expert art critic. I hope that I will have another chance to meet Louis.
